CHRISTINA BRADBURY, DVM, MS, DACVIM

A Northern California native, I have been practicing in the Sacramento area as a Board Certified Small Animal Internal Medicine specialist since 2010.

When starting veterinary school, I wasn't sure where my path would take me. I thought maybe I would go into wildlife medicine, or pursue a PhD and stay in academia. During clinical rotations in my 4th year at UC Davis, I found my passion for internal medicine. After receiving my DVM from UC Davis, I completed an internship at Texas A&M and then a residency at Colorado State University. In my residency, I completed my Master's of Clinical Science. I became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2010.

I have always had a strong interest in research, which has led to several journal publications and an interesting collaboration with the UC Davis Veterinary Institute for Regenerative Cures (VIRC). I am also an author of a chapter in the Eighth Edition of The Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Ettinger, Feldman & Cote)

I spend my free time adventuring with my husband Nate, and spending time with all of our critters (two dogs, three cats and a horse). We love snowboarding, the mountains, rocks (yes, rocks!) and dancing.

I have learned a lot through the years, and I am excited to be able to bring my knowledge, experience and passion for internal medicine to you and the staff at your clinic!
